First Baptist Church of Statesboro 108 North Main Street Statesboro, Georgia 30458
First Baptist Church is prepared to receive your gift of stocks and other securities. We have accounts with various brokerages in town and can assist you with your transaction. It is our policy to liquidate stocks immediately. We have a number of supporters who give stocks/securities on a regular basis. Please contact us if we can assist you with this kind of gift.
Planned Giving uses wills and trusts to support the mission of First Baptist for years to come. Currently, we manage over $400,000 in Endowment Funds that benefit a variety of our ministries such as missionary housing, a retreat center, nursing ministry and education. If you are considering a gift of this nature, let us know if we can assist you in the process. For additional resources, go to the Georgia Baptist Foundation website at
Memorial Giving is a wonderful way to memorialize a loved one and to support the various ministries of First Baptist. Many people utilize Memorial Giving to give something special, above and beyond their tithe, to further the purpose of a particular ministry of the church. Although it is not required to designate a Memorial gift for a particular fund, often such gifts enable the church to reach beyond the scope of the General Budget.
If you would like to make a Memorial Gift, please be sure to include with your gift a note identifying the person(s) you are honoring/memorializing and the designated fund of your choice, if any. Upon receiving your gift, First Baptist will send an acknowledgement card to the person or their family, on your behalf.
For additional information on Memorial Giving, contact Tammy Goodman, Administrative Office Manager, at email@example.com | (912) 489-7907.
