Joshua's and Caleb's Report

Joshua's and Caleb's Report is the Senior Member's Newsletter published and mailed monthly. It keeps Senior Members up-to-date with all that is going on at FBC and encourages them  to remain faithful to God - connecting upward to God in Salvation, Inward to each other, and outward to the World.

Joshua and Caleb were both numbered among the Israelites who were led out of slavery in Egypt by Moses through the power of God. They were selected as representatives of their respective tribes when Moses sent 12 spies into the Land of Promise to see what sort of land it was and what kind of people lived there. Joshua and Caleb presented a minority report, and while it was not accepted, the majority report was cause for the Hebrew Children to have to wander in the wilderness until all who had come out of Egypt had died - all accept a handful of the original slaves who survived. Joshua and Caleb were numbered among these faithful who took God at His word and were permitted to go into the Promised Land of Israel. By this time they were the Senior Members who were rewarded by God for their faithfulness. Joshua's and Caleb's Report challenges FBC Senior Members to emulate Joshua and Caleb in their faithfulness and service to God.
