One of the significant responsibilities of church members is to select deacons to serve the congregation and community. The church’s Nominating Committee is charged with the responsibility of recommending candidates to the congregation for election, but they welcome input from the members regarding the names of potential candidates to consider. Church members are asked to recommend up to eight men to serve as deacons.
