Children's Music Ministry

Children’s music plays a major role in the FBC music ministry. Under the direction of Jean Moore, Director of Children’s Music Ministry, and her team of workers, children are offered many wonderful musical experiences.

The goal of our children’s music ministry is for children to learn the joys of music and how it all fits in God’s master plan. They learn to find music in God’s Word, they learn Sing, learn rhythm and melody, learn to sing on pitch, play a variety of “rhythm band” instruments as well as Orff Instruments.

For older children there are special opportunities to learn hand bells, learn about sound systems, and even praise dance.

The Preschool Choirs meet each Wednesday during the school year from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m.
The Children's Choirs meet each Wednesday during the school year from 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

3 year olds, Sonshine Singers (Children must be three years of age.)
4 year olds, Play and Praise
5 year olds, Joyful Noise
First Grade, Kids of the Kingdom
Second Grade, His Kids
Third Grade, Made for Praise
Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Grades, Celebration Kids
