Children's Ministry
Through the Children’s Ministry at FBC Statesboro, we are laying strong spiritual foundations that help children grow in their understanding of God and that provide them opportunities to serve others. A well-trained leadership team comprised of volunteers and professional staff directs our children’s programming through weekly activities and special events. The children’s building, called KidzPlace, is a well-maintained and safe environment where children interact while “Growing to be like Jesus.”
Every Sunday we provide children opportunities for Bible study, worship, and interaction in age-specific settings, along with Children’s Worship and professional child care for preschoolers.
Wednesday evenings are an energetic blend of music and missions as children participate in age-specific choirs and mission experiences such as Junior CIA and CIA.
Special events such as Vacation Bible School, summer camp, day trips, snow nights, and Fall Festival are held throughout the year as additional ministries to children and their families.
The Children’s Ministry is an integral part of FBC Statesboro’s goal of Connecting People to Life. Children learn about God and worship (Upward Connection), enjoy Bible study, recreation, and interaction (Inward Connection), and participate in service and missions (Outward Connection).
FBC Preschool is our half-day weekday program for preschoolers age 6 months - 4 year. Click here for additional information on this ministry.
