A group of 18 students and adults traveled to North Charleston, SC to share the gospel the week of July 12-18, 2009. We spent the mornings ministering to some of the senior citizens of Horizon Village, a multi-housing community in North Charleston. Two worship services were held with singing (hymns and contemporary music), individual prayer time, and communion. In addition to doing some prayer walking around the communities we spent the afternoons doing VBS/Backyard Bible Clubs with the teenagers and children of Horizon Village. Each day we saw 30-50 children come to listen to Bible stories, make crafts, sing, and play outside. God blessed our group with many opportunities for ministry, even with each other!
